Scott started teaching after graduating from Goddard College with a BA in Music Composition.  As his career began to rise he took a 15 year hiatus from teaching but started up again during the pandemic and realised that he truly enjoyed it and missed it.  Since then he continues to teach 3 days a week when he's not touring.  Scott approaches each student individually and doesn't take a “one size fits all” approach.  He prefers a student directed approach where the students interest and intrigue lead the way.  He likes to find the “fun” and let that lead the way.  He finds that if it's fun then the student will see no difference between playing and praciticing.
